Zeytouna Beach
El Gouna's island beach — shallow lagoon, boat shuttle, all-day ease
A whole small island given over to a beach club: white sand, a knee-to-waist-deep lagoon that's perfect for kids and terrible excuses for cocktails at swim-up distance. Reached by shuttle boat or the long footbridge, which is half the charm. This is the definitive Gouna beach day.
Best time
Weekdays; Cairo weekenders fill it Friday–Saturday
Entry & fees
External visitors pay a day rate of around EGP 750 including sunbed, of which roughly EGP 350 comes back as food & drink credit (structure changes seasonally — we confirm current rates when you book).
Insider tip
Take the footbridge out and the boat back — the bridge is the town's best photo walk, and afternoon legs prefer the boat.
