Explore Abu Dabbab Bay and catch a glimpse of a splendid creature, the dugong! These creatures are related to manatees and are often called ‘sea cows’. They are quite literally the cow of the sea. Imagine being underwater and seeing one of these magnificent mammals passing by under your eyes as they glide under the water collecting sea grass. They live just 15 minutes away by speedboat and are super friendly. They are often very peaceful and relax! Very rarely, hundreds can be seen swimming together but usually they are alone or in pairs, either way, they are a joy to meet under the water and not shy to say hello.
