The classic: your own quad, a desert sunset, Bedouin tea

Two-ish hours of guided quad riding through wadis and gravel plains, timed so you crest the viewpoint ridge as the sun drops behind the Red Sea Mountains. Convoy riding with a guide front and back — beginners are fine after the practice loop. Ends with tea at a Bedouin station.

Dune Buggy Sunset Run

Roll cage, bucket seats, sand in your grin

The buggy is the quad's louder sibling: side-by-side seating, proper suspension and enough power to make the gravel washes genuinely fun. Same sunset timing and tea stop as the quad safari, but you can share the ride with a passenger who'd rather film than drive.

Horseback — Beach & Desert Ride

Ride the shoreline at dawn, the dunes at dusk

Well-kept Arabian horses, small guided groups and the ride everyone actually wants: hooves in the surf on an empty stretch of beach, then a loop through the dunes behind. Dawn rides are cooler and emptier; sunset rides win on light. Beginners are led; riders who can post get to canter the sand flats.
