Tawila is the flat, uninhabited sand island north of El Gouna that locals keep for themselves: blinding white beaches, waist-deep lagoons in every direction and shallow reefs off the edges. Trips run as private or small-group boat days with lunch aboard. Bring nothing, want nothing.
